The vegetable curry is absolutely delicious —you will be amazed. The sweetest family with affordable prices and fresh unique flavors and local ingredients. We even met other travelers had great conversations and even played chess with the kids. Don’t miss this place.

stumbled across this cute restaurant and so glad we did! We got the vegetable Sri Lankan curries and added a chicken curry. It was freshly cooked and tasted amazing one of the best curries I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka also the staff are so lovely and friendly! 100% recommend

We visited this restaurant with three of my friends yesterday and had one of the best dining experiences ever. We ordered rice and curry, griled fish with salad, and grilled prawns all the food was completely delectable, freshly prepared, and served piping hot. You could sense the freshness in every single bite! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They truly know what hospitality entails they kept us chatting for hours, sharing their culture and way of life, which made the entire experience even more special. We honestly can't recommend any other place while staying in Weligama. This restaurant gave us not just a meal, but a sweet memory. Extremely thank you to the staff for all your hard work and hospitality you truly made us feel home!

Delicious curry, great service & lovely atmosphere. Came here 2 nights in a row (& would have been more if we’d discovered this place earlier in our trip!) Also really reasonable prices. Highly recommend

Absolutely must visit place! They offer home-style Shri lanka cuisine and a presentation you won't find in any fancy restaurant. I ordered grilled fish — you can choose two of three sides: salad, fries, or rice. I took with the salad and rice, and it was absolutely amazing! The rice was very fluffy and slightly sweet, the tuna was perfectly grilled, and the fresh vegetable salad with a sweet and sour dressing was delicious. I thought I'd order dessert after the main course, but I realized I simply couldn't manage it—the portions are truly generous. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu, because today's visit convinced me that this place is worth coming back again and again, including for the desserts. Keep in mind that they prepare everything just for you: it takes time, but it's worth it.

The food was so good here that we decided to visit it twice during our short stay. The vegetarian curry was amazing, a big portion that you can share in two. The staff was very friendly and nice. Recommend this family restaurant for 100%
